Parents who need a break a couple days a week can enroll their children in FCN's Sandbox PDO, an established Christian-based program designed to give the best possible care to your child. Designed to create opportunities to demonstrate God's love to children, impact families for the Lord and introduce them to FCN. The Sandbox PDO is a ministry that implements an activity-oriented program for children from ages 6 weeks to five years. We strive to have enough structure to provide an effective learning environment for children and enough flexibility to effectively minister to their parents.
The Sandbox offers small class sizes and highly qualified teachers who partner with our parents to help with individual learning, behavioral goals and needs. We are dependable, and have quality care built into a strong foundation. Daily the children will learn Bible verses and what they mean as well as experience math, science, language and literacy concepts. We also have opportunities each day to exercise our gross motor skills in the gym or explore outdoors.
Each age group is led by experienced trained staff that have met FCN's Safe and Secure requirements and Background Checks. Our Sandbox Teachers focus on helping our children to develop their spiritual, physical, and social skills by using developmental teaching techniques for the appropriate age level of each child. Bible Based curriculum is used along with weekly chapel time to help with our children's spiritual growth. Physical activities include music, organized Gym activity, stretching, and game play.
